How does Jompa make a meeting fair?

Jompa compares how long each person may travel and gives priority to places that reduce the longest journey, then considers the group’s average and spread.

Do my friends need an account or app?

No. Friends just open the link in their browser and join. Nothing to download, no account.

Do my friends need to know where I’m coming from?

No. You give your starting location to Jompa, not the group. Friends do not see your exact starting point or route. They may see rounded travel-time estimates for suggested places.

Can friends choose different travel modes?

Yes. Each person can choose to drive or walk. The available options depend on routing data for the area.

Do paid venue listings affect recommendations?

A paid listing can change a venue’s discovery radius and display order. Every suggested venue still has to meet the group’s route and travel-time criteria, and the group decides by voting.
